CNC Machining of Stainless Steel Jacketed Adjustable Valve for the Polymer Industry

A polymer industry customer approached Precision Machine Company, Inc to CNC machine four stainless steel jacked adjustable valves. The client came to PMC because, off the shelf, the valves they chose would not work properly on their machinery. In order to make the stainless steel valves perfect for the customer we put them through a series of initial processes that included: CNC milling and turning, fabrication and TIG welding. The valves, which measured 5″ in diameter and 20″ in length, were then given a black oxide coating and hydrostatic tested. After inspection, the valves were sent to the client’s North Carolina location.
