Custom Fabrication for Lift ConversionThis product started life as a mass produced flat top lift; our customer needed major modifications in order to use it for a parts transport system component. The project required the custom fabrication of stainless steel tubing that was formed and welded to shape the side rails and the swing gate. The lift also needed to be modified for use on the customers in-house rail transport system.

The rail transport elements were CNC machined from carbon steel. They met tolerances of ±.002”, and featured a 16 RMS finish. The completed lift measured 60” x 30” x 48”. As with all of our products and services, it was put through full inspection and passed customer approval.
