CNC Machining of Stainless Steel Motor Driven Valve for the Polymer Industry
A client from the polymer industry approached Precision Machine Company, Inc to CNC machine four stainless steel motor driven valves. Each valve was first CNC milled, turned and then fabricated. After all the necessary TIG welding was completed the valves went through passivation and coating. The valves were made of a combination of materials including 316, 304 and 17-4PH stainless steel. After hydrostatic testing, the valves were put through extensive testing to make sure the met or exceed industry standards.
The 3 inch motor driven polymer valves were then packaged and shipped to the client’s North Carolina location.
